Vintner Rose named this wine Patchwork because she blended her best Shiraz grapes selected from her vineyards throughout Barossa, the Napa Valley of Australia. This bright red offers a lively mouthful of blackberry, floral and mint aromas and flavors, lingering on the medium-weight finish. Already aged 4 years for you. Drink now through 2014.
After several generations, a woman now serves as winemaker at Yalumba, Australia’s oldest family owned winery. Rose has been at the forefront of introducing new wine styles that combine history and tradition with innovation. Yalumba also leads the industry in environmental performance; reducing carbon emissions, increasing biodiversity and exploring organic viticulture.
